The Kongom Logistic & Procurement will ensure the safe transportation and delivery of all procured material items and/or goods, from the point of departure, i.e. Internationally, Regionally or locally sourced.
Our team will engage that service of the reputable shipping company for all the goods procured overseas. Our company would however retain the responsibility of ensuring proper control of the materials to the point of embarking, negotiating shipping, negotiating freight rates and compliance with both import-export regulations.
Through working with our suppliers, we seek to create value for our mother company as well as our partners, by developing a platform for long-term collaboration and success.
Procurement agreements
Upon or prior to placing the order with us, our company enters into a contractual agreement (written/orally) with the client.
This agreement will entail, among others; the billing system preferred by the client, method of payment, insurances, warrantee and other relevant technical aspects which are of mutual beneficial to both parties.
Strategic Sourcing & Project
Our team is responsible of setting up Strategic Sourcing & Projects management during the procurement process. We strongly believe that this will add value by improving and re-evaluating the purchasing activities.
Strategic Sourcing and Projects, helps us in assessing the market, identifying new suppliers and developing better sourcing strategies that focus on demand and supply issues, minimizing risks and costs.
